Title: We Build Community by Organizing the Desperate Masses

Original Tweet – We build community by organizing the desperate masses, those who desire community yet don’t know how to define their desire. We build community by organizing our mind then teaching others how to organize theirs – we build community by building what was & has always been!

EXPLANATION – On our people’s lips today is the great need for community; to build it, to know it, to sustain it and to carry it deep into the future through our liberation to a period in time when we know peace without oppression. Community is as important as it is because we are, by nature and tradition, a people defined by our peopleness, by our collectivism and our wholeness in unification. This is in stark contrast to the ruling ideology today; individualism, fragmental atoms scattered about doing whatever the greatest power source dare use them for, rules this imperial-laden world. For the entire Maafa period, we have resisted becoming a conspirer attuned to this fragmental philosophy, yet some have fallen into cooperation with it trying to convince others that what has been taught through dominance and fear should be followed whole cloth without questioning. Thankfully the masses have rejected such entreats. Regrettably the entreats have not been solely ignored causes our notion of community to become dimmed. This tweet is dedicated to all those within our community unable to see the driving force within them that calls them forward to overly care for their neighbors, their homies, their girlfriends, their extended families or whatever nomenclature they affix to their friend circle.

The message itself is reversed and out of order. To organize community, you begin by defining what was and has always been, this then becomes the vision you attach to, sculpting it as you continue the process of building the mind for community by contacting those within the area being organized. What is realized soon is the members within the community being organized always had the vision for the community within them and the parts required to fulfill that vision the entire time. What prevented them from putting the vision together was knowing what they had within them, once they knew the truth – once they became activated by an activist, not to simply protest for something, but to live the truth within them that community begins and ends with them, a better society begins and ends with them and a better tomorrow begins and ends with them and those they congregate with to make real that vision – then community occurred naturally. In this “awakening process”, this awakening to the community within; comes the tools to awaken the vision within others, hence the phrase in the tweet “we build community by organizing our mind then teaching others how to organize theirs”. This is the function in true spirit based activism.

What enabled the actions described above is captured in the first line to the tweet. The masses are indeed desperate in times when create pain is being felt, yet today that pain is often masked by creature comforts like technological devices, homes and apartments filled with cheap furniture and homelessness scorned as an outlier to the communal wealth rather than a reflection of its inherent poverty in spirit. These masses are not only lacking in their ability to define their desires but are also very much lacking in seeing their desire as unfulfilled and unmet, thus blinding them to the fact that the desire is sitting within them due to their external environment reflecting back to them an environment depleted by unnatural forces resulting in a void where community should naturally occur.
